The Salvation Army is looking to hire a Cook and offers the following benefit package to part-time employees:

The Cook will prepare and serve various and large quantities of foods for different programs at the Corps – kids program, seniors programs, community breakfast, etc.
Associates Degree in Culinary Arts, required
2-5 years’ experience in meal preparation for various size groups 25-500
Must be ServSafe certified
ServSafe Manager Required
Must be able to plan, prepare, and serve a large variety of food
Must have knowledge and ability to use and maintain kitchen equipment
Must be able to communicate effectively in English (bi-lingual, preferred)
Ability to stand for long periods of time and work in a fast-paced environment
Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 40 lbs
Must have excellent customer service skills
*This is a part-time position (27.50 hrs/week). The pay rate is $18.50/hour.
