  • Overview

    The role of the Health Office Administrator is to assist with the clerical functions of the health office, as well as assist the Registered Nurse in implementing Health and Wellness measures for the CFOT community.



    • Establish and effectively communicate office hours and availability to community of cadets.
    • Assist RN and cadets with scheduling appointments (medical, dental, specialists) as needed.
    • Assist cadets with scheduling visits with the RN.
    • Maintain up-to-date provider resource packet for cadets.
    • Maintain office statistics, ER visits, referrals, sick leave, etc.
    • Communicate effectively with the Transportation Department for Cadet Transports.
    • Packaging, maintenance and storing of completed medical records
    • Assists RN with maintenance of first aid kits and AEDs
    • Provides first aid and emergency care as needed
    • Preparation of Excel spread sheets as needed (immunization, medical restrictions)
    • Assist the Registered Nurse in the implementation of a Health and Wellness Plan including, but not limited to, preparation and distribution of educational materials, helping organize fitness clubs, and assisting RN with educational programs for the CFOT community.


    Associate’s degree (A. A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school and two years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.




    Experience with electronic medical record preferred
    Fluency in English and Spanish preferred
    CPR/First Aid experience preferred
    Candidate should have an interest in community Wellness programs, nutrition, or healthy living.
    Willingness to pursue certifications in health and Wellness topics, nutrition, and physical fitness instruction preferred.
