The Youth Ministries Coordinator will provide intensive relational ministry to children, teens and their families through evangelism, discipleship, Christian Education, recreation, mentoring and service.
Associates or Bachelor's Degree required in related field
At least one year experience working with children and teens preferred. Any previous experience in youth leadership position of Corps or church will be taken into consideration.
Must be committed to the mission of The Salvation Army
Must be 21 years old with valid driver's license, able to qualify to drive a 12-passenger van
Music abilities desired
Must be self-motivated, organized, and creative
Great communication skills; written & oral
Must have basic computer skills to do correspondence, create flyers and ministry resources and access internet, etc.
Must be available for work and activities on Sundays
Uniform Salvationist preferred

This is a full-time (35 hrs/week) position. The pay range is $17-$19 per hour.
