  • Responsibilities

    • Responsible for managing/handling all functions relating to admissions
    • Develop and implement marketing of the Residence including (but not limited to) meetings with community, school and company representatives in effort to establish/maintain high occupancy percentage year round
    • Using proper phone etiquette, answer questions and share Markle’s attributes
    • With professionalism/enthusiasm answer questions and conduct tours for inquirers
    • Maintain correspondence (phone, letter, e-mail, etc.) with prospective residents in an organized, professional and efficient manner
    • Establish and maintain orderly file on each applicant
    • Arrange for and process approved forms/documents necessary for admittance
    • Screen/interview applicants as to their qualifications for residency
    • Receive/register application and appropriate fees
    • Ensure all relevant information is entered into and maintained in the specialized management software used by the Residence
    • Generate germane reports and present reports/analysis to Residence Administrators
    • Recommend to Administrators suggested changes in policies, prices, etc.
    • Effectively communicate/work with assigned individuals to be sure pertinent information is efficiently and correctly shared between departments
    • Provide staff supervision to any employees who are temporarily or permanently allocated to the Admissions department
    • Other duties as assigned


    • Bachelor’s Degree (in either Business, Marketing, Communications or related)
    • Experience in hotel reservation systems preferable, but not required
    • Excellent computer skills
    • Strong interpersonal skills noting applicants/residents are from all over the world
    • Very proficient in written and spoken English
    • Fluency in Spanish is beneficial and highly preferred… but not required
    • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team atmosphere
    • Proven experience in effectively marketing a product, organization or apartment/hotel
