    Position: Membership Account Assistant                 

    Location: Ray & Joan Kroc Corps Community Center, Philadelphia PA

    Availability: Immediate

    Schedule: Part-Time under 20 hours per week- Must be willing and able to work weekends and evenings as maybe required in performance of duties or as requested to support the ongoing operations of the Kroc Center. 

    Reporting Relationship: Kroc Operations Director                   

    Salary and Grade:  $13.00 per hours; 73 Non exempt


    The Membership Account Assistant (MAA) will provide assistance to Kroc Operations in a professional, confidential manner. The MAA will focus his/her efforts on assuring the accuracy of membership accounts, as well as providing follow-up efforts necessary to secure payments from those whose account becomes delinquent.  Other duties may be assigned as needed to further support the Kroc Center member experience.   


    Have at least 3 years of relevant secretarial or general office experience. Be able to accurately type 45-50 words per minute. Be proficient in the following personal computer software applications: Microsoft Word, Excel, Lotus Notes and Internet Explorer; working knowledge of Access and PowerPoint a plus. Have the ability to work both as part of a team and independently in the completion of job tasks. Have the ability to learn appropriate modules in CCMS in order to accurately complete job tasks. Possess excellent skills related to organizing, filing, proofreading, follow-up systems and professional communications skills. Must be able to communicate clearly in English (both written and verbally). Must possess professional telephone skills.  Must possess the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality. Must possess an understanding of Salvation Army terminology.  As a Mandated Reporter, must provide proof of having completed training on recognizing and reporting child abuse meeting the training standards of PA Act 153 of 2014 within 30 days of employment with recurrent training required every three years thereafter. Meets the Child Protection Clearances required by PA Act 153 to include PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check and FBI Criminal Record Check. Must have an understanding of and appreciation for the Mission Statements of The Salvation Army and the SAKC.
