    Salary Grade: $8.75/hr.                                      Status: Non-Exempt                                          

    Supervises: N/A

    Schedule: Part-Time (Days, Nights, Weekends, Holidays)

    Responsibilities

    Under supervision of the Fitness & Recreation Manager, the Fitness and Recreation Program Attendant (F/R PA) will be available to perform a variety of duties as needed for the successful operation of fitness and recreation programs and activities.  The F/R PA must demonstrate strong communication skills, athleticism, organization skills, and enjoy building relationships Kroc Center members and guests.

    Qualifications

    • Must be at least 18 years of age.
    • Must be available to work at least one weekened per month.
    • Must be able to demonstrate leadership skills, problem solving capabilities, and the ability to resolve conflicts in a peaceful manner.
    • Must be able to demonstrate a passionate desire to contribute to the ongoing development of innovative and excellent programs offered at the RJKCCC.
    • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to carry out multiple tasks efficiently and accurately.
    • Must have effective verbal and written communication skills and be able to provide direction in a clear manner.
    • Must be able to lift and carry 45 pounds.
    • Must have ability to communicate and demonstrate proper techniques for weight training, and sports performance.
    • Must have an understanding of, and appreciation for the Mission of The Salvation Army and the Camden Kroc Center’s Core values.
