The Fundraising Programs Manager leads and manages all aspects of the Annual Luncheon including planning and executing committee meetings, developing donor lists and program collateral. Strategically develop and implement new programs to raise additional funds and awareness of The Salvation Army through cause-related marketing, awareness, fundraising events, corporate sponsorships, promotions, new workplace giving campaigns, and digital fundraising programs. Lead efforts to build affinity with the next generation of Salvation Army donors and volunteers; and identify and maximize opportunities for communication and fundraising growth.
The Fundraising Programs Manager works with the Director of Communications, Marketing and Public Relations Director to establish a social media, digital communications, website management campaign and annual calendar of content. Provides oversight and guidance to the Event and Volunteer Program Coordinator relative to e-communications, corporate partner relationships, and event support related to corps, social service distributions, volunteer promotions and corporate relations events.
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Communications-related field
Minimum of four years of professional fundraising, communication and event experience.
Experience with constituent communication and stewardship through written communication and events implementation; and overall program strategy and implementation.
Experience in achieving program goals by developing short and long-term strategies for fundraising programs, communication, stewardship and engaging volunteer leaders.
Experience with: writing/production of communication, solicitation and marketing collateral; managing all aspects of planning and organizing multiple and often simultaneous major special events
Experience working to create, produce and distribute marketing materials, solicitations and other communications.
Experience in website content management, social media, and graphic design.
Entrepreneurial and collaborative spirit and approach to goal achievement, problem solving and increasing charitable income through fundraising programs;
Strong verbal and written communications with experience in writing donor solicitations, promotional materials such as newsletters, e-solicitations, web pages, or brochures;
Strong customer service, leadership, organizational and problem solving skills;
Project management skills and highly organized with excellent attention to detail;
Effective at relationship building with key stakeholders including officers, staff, donors, and volunteer leaders.
Flexible and able to maintain priorities while managing multiple projects and a large volume of responsibilities;
Ability to remain tactful and flexible under pressure;
Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service and maintain a high level of confidentiality;
Experience producing collateral materials and using digital marketing tools such as Constant Contact, Luminate System or similar;
This position requires expertise with relational database software and Microsoft Excel and/or Access; and design/presentation expertise with Mac Pages and Keynote, the Adobe Creative Suite (or similar publications software), Microsoft PowerPoint and Publisher

The pay range for this position is $45,000 to $50,000 per year.
