Reporting to the Supervisor of Contract Funding, the Contracts Specialist prepares and maintains the record retention of all contracts, agreements, applications and corporate documents on behalf of The Salvation Army’s Legal Department in the Eastern Territory.
Assist the Supervisor of Contract Funding, and other members of the Legal Department staff with the review of contracts, agreements, applications and other corporate documents to ensure appropriate execution; prepare monthly reports; maintain smooth flow of information to both internal and external partners. Participate in department and function area meetings. Additional duties as directed by the Supervisor of Contract Funding may be assigned.
The successful candidate should have excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills; have the ability to make sound decisions and handle confidential information; work well independently and as a team player; and be well organized. Associate's degree and two years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience working with legal documents preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. New York State Notary Public certification preferred.
