    Reports to:  Corps Officers

    Supervises:  N/A

    Status:  Nonexempt

    Schedule:  25-29 Hours/week.  Monday - Friday

    Summary:  This position will assist with the administrative duties of the Corps.


    • Maintain Corps Data Bases
    • Input of monthly Divisional Stats as required
    • Process paperwork for kettle workers
    • Input information into the Red Kettle Worker managements program
    • Compile weekly bank deposits of offering and monetary donations
    • Post Office run twice a week.
    • Scanning and input as needed
    • Assist Corps Officers with assigned projects
    • work in coordination with the EP Provider in maintaining organization and inventory of the food pantry.
    • Answer phones and direct callers to the appropriate person or voice-mail
    • Working with the EA Provider, assist with intake and scheduling as needed
    • Greet and direct visitors with a high degree of professionalism
    • Provide callers and visitors with information requested.
    • Perform a variety of clerical duties as needed.
    • Open and close visitor are (locking doors, turning off lights, etc.)
    • Advise staff of any inappropriate or potentially harmful behavior in the lobby area
    • Be sure the lobby is neat and flyers are up to date and available
    • maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPPA policies 


    • High School Diploma
    • Administrative experience
    • Teachable spirit with a desire to grow in faith and abilities
    • Self-starter, highly motivated, task orientated and organized
    • Strong interpersonal and relational skills
    • A good understanding of chain-of-command and can work under authority
    • Proficient in a MS Office environment
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Be dependable and prompt
    • Be in agreement with the mission of The Salvation Army
    • Be able to qualify as a driver under Salvation Army guidelines
