    The Salvation Army is hiring a Youth Ministries Coordinator in Brockton and offers the following benefit package to part-time employees:

    *This is a part-time position, 23.50 hrs/week.  

    Tuesday (10am-4pm) = 6 hrs 

    Thursday (2pm-8pm) = 6 hrs 

    Friday (2pm-8pm) = 6 hrs  

    Sunday (8:30am-2pm) = 5.5 hrs 

    The rate for this position is $17 per hour. 

    The Youth Ministries Coordinator will provide relational ministry to children, teens and their families through evangelism, discipleship, Christian education, and recreation.  

    Qualifications 

    Associates or Bachelor's Degree required preferably in Youth Ministry/Counseling 

    Two years of direct work with young adults  

    Prior work/volunteering experience with Salvation Army programming preferred 

    Prior work experience with children in a recreational and/or educational setting 

    Must be committed to the mission of The Salvation Army 

    Must be 21 years old with valid driver's license, able to qualify to drive a 12-passenger van 

    Music abilities desired 

    Must be self-motivated, organized, and creative 

    Great communication skills; written & oral 

    Must have basic computer skills to do correspondence, create flyers and ministry resources and access internet, etc 

    Must be available for work and activities on Sundays 

    Uniform Salvationist preferred
