    Hours Per Week: Varies

     

    Scope & Purpose of Position:

    Shall provide diverse office support and assist Corps Officer(s), Director of Social Services, Operations Manager & Case Managers when needed.

    Responsibilities

    Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

    • Answer phones and secure messages, informing Corps Officers and other staff as appropriate.
    • Assist with Thanksgiving and Christmas efforts.
    • Assist with filing, typing, and other office tasks that are deemed appropriate.
    • Tend to the front desk and monitor everyone entering the building and organize accordingly.
    • Keep the schedules of the case managers & supervisors to ensure that their clients are tended to in a timely manner.
    • Assist with the food pantry.
    • Make phones calls needed to confirm appointments and update the staff communication board.

    • Hand out and keep record of bread and pastry.
    • Maintain a filing system for all records.

    • Assist with monthly and other statistics as may be required.
    • Welcome and greet visitors.
    • Accept, secure, and document donations from donors.
    • Maintain a clean, organized office environment, including the main office and main entrance.
    • Maintain an inventory of office supplies and office equipment.
    • Assist with securing the delivery of mail to Divisional Headquarters, including other miscellaneous outgoing mail.

    Qualifications

    • High School diploma required, Associates Degree preferred
    • Bilingual in Spanish and English
    • Effective interpersonal skills
    • Able to manage multiple projects and conflicting priorities
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Proficiency in Word and Excel is required
    • Must be able to communicate effectively in a warm, gracious, and professional manner
    • Requires the ability to write in a professional manner
    • Requires a high level of initiative and the ability to work without direct supervision in routine matters
    • Must maintain a high level of confidentiality, discretion, and judgment
