    The Salvation Army is Hiring!


    The ANEW Center has an immediate opening for a full-time Family Resource Coordinator to oversee and provide counseling, advocacy and case management services to children, adolescents, families, and adults in Chautaugua County.  


    This position will be scheduled 40hrs/week, and will typically work weekdays. However, the ANEW Center does offer services 24 hours/day, and at times coverage for shifts on weekends and Evenings/Nights may be required.

    • Develop and implement curriculum and activities for the Children and Family Outreach Program (CFOP).
    • Provide case management to families involved with children’s services and non-residential clients including advocacy, accompaniment, crisis intervention, home visits, intake assessments, educational sessions, transportation, providing information, referrals, follow-up services and emergency crisis evaluations, as requested.
    • Provide Domestic Violence/Rape Crisis services in person and via the Hotline, and ensure follow-up.
    • Supervise staff, volunteers, and interns as directed.
    • Facilitating regular staff meetings relevant to children’s services and attending other staff meetings as requested.
    • Review documentation by Family Resource Specialists, confirming regulatory adequacy and timeliness. Track any necessary discussions with Family Resource Specialists regarding failure to comply with regulatory adequacy and timeliness.
    • Assure Family Resource Specialists complete and maintain necessary training and all necessary job responsibilities.
    • Evaluate the impact of Family Resource Specialists activity on client outcomes by using and reviewing multi-level assessments (e.g. CFOP feedback forms, client reports, goals checklists and observations)
    • Will be assigned to the Response Team Schedule as directed by the Program Director, which includes being available for shelter coverage, advocacies, debriefing, phone calls, and all other critical situations during assigned coverage dates which includes weekdays, weekends, and Holidays.


    • Bachelor's Degree and Three years related experience required.
    • Must satisfactorily complete the sexual assault training in order to be a certified rape crisis counselor and attend a minimum of 10 additional training hours per year.
    • Must have computer/typing skills in order to complete statistics, maintain case files, and correspond via email communication.
    • Able to drive a 12-passenger vehicle.
    • Valid driver’s license that meets The Salvation Army insurance requirements.
