Plan, develop, and execute a marketing plan for The Salvation Army Boston Kroc Center for the specific purpose of growing membership and increasing membership sales revenue; to promote the use of The Salvation Army Boston Kroc Center facility by outside groups.
Working with the Chief Operations Executive and other key staff to develop and maintain an understanding of the current membership experience, program offerings and center-wide priorities and goals.
Craft the internal and external communications plan related to membership experience, program offerings and center-wide priorities.
Plan, design, and execute marketing plans that increase membership sales revenue and revenue generated from the use of The Salvation Army Boston Kroc Center by outside groups.
Manage the relationship between The Salvation Army Boston Kroc Center and marketing consultants and vendors.
Collaborate with Divisional Headquarters Community Relations & Development Department on marketing-related items, media and public relations opportunities that support the marketing plan.
Engage social media followers on a consistent basis and create more visibility and loyalty to The Salvation Army Boston Kroc Center branding.
Increase social engagement by providing followers and community with weekly updates on all social media platforms including: Twitter, Facebook Instagram, Blog and Hootsuite.
Maintain and operate within the Marketing budgets, including pricing and promotional discounts.
Manage web development staff to maintain current and relevant website and social media promotion in accordance with the marketing and communications plans.
Provide regular reporting to the Chief Operations Executive and The Salvation Army Boston Kroc Center Administrators related to the marketing and communications plans and achievement of marketing goals.
Coordinate membership sales programs with Accountant Manager, Membership Manager and the Sales & Welcome Desk staff to facilitate proper sales and financial processing.
Manage graphic design of internal and external marketing communication devices with The Salvation Army Boston Kroc Center staff and/or vendors.
Assume Manager on Duty (MOD) responsibilities when scheduled.
Must have an Associate’s degree (Bachelor’s degree preferred) in a field related to business, marketing, communications.
