Overview

Status:  Full Time (35 hours), Non-Exempt Position w/ Mileage reimbursement.

 

Reports to: SSVF Case Manager
Overview:
 This position will provide home, office and community based case management to approximately 25-35 homeless veteran households within a 4 county service region per program year. Services include intake, assessment, data entry, advocacy, housing stability plan development, referral, outreach and linkage to community resources and transporting clients.   

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, or a related field preferred
  • Experience working with persons facing housing crisis and/or homelessness
  • Experience working with Veteran population a plus
  • Valid Ohio Driver’s license and the ability obtain and maintain driving privileges per Salvation Army insurance standards
  • An understanding of and passion for The Salvation Army's mission
