SCHEDULE:              8:30 to 4:00



 Provide services to homeless individuals and families with children living in TSA emergency shelter.  The goal is to assist the client in obtaining permanent housing and supportive services to retain housing.


  1. Provide intake services and assessments for clients seeking admittance to the Emergency Home.
  2. Work out a written plan for clients to do what is necessary to secure an income and housing.
  3. Maintain a manageable flow of client cases and close them when a client leaves the shelter.
  4. Organize case recording and record keeping both files and VESTA/HMIS and complete a VI-SPDAT assessment for the shelter client.
  5. Provide monthly reports to Manager as requested.
  6. Participate in individual supervision, staff development program and peer review seminars.
  7. Provide three group meetings for clients a week in conjunction with the Empowerment Center Mentor.
  8. Attend shelter program developmental meetings.
  9. Attend Monday Case Manager meetings with the Family Housing Partnership shelters.
  10. Provide emergency back-up service for shelter aides.
  11. Other duties as requested.


  1. Bachelors of Social Work
  2. Licensed Social Worker
  3. Two years case management experience
