Accounting Degree Preferred 

3-5 years preferred, but not required 

  • Computer literate 
  • Ability to use Microsoft applications with proficiency 
  • Ability to communicate well with others 

Primary Responsibilities: 

Supportive role with all phases of accounting and reporting relating to the GNEF under the supervision of the Account Payable/Special Projects Coordinator 

Give assistance to & have significant responsibility for the following, under the direction of immediate supervisor: 

  • Process GNEF income, prepare and deposit all incomes required. 
  • Receive, review and process all GNEF assistance applications. Prepare check requisitions and insure that appropriate checks are generated and sent to vendors on a timely basis. 
  • Record all income and expense into GNEF accounting software.  
  • Generate financial reports for submission to FS and GNEF Committee. 
  • Review General Ledger for accuracy, on a monthly basis, balancing with GNEF monthly reports. 
  • Reconcile GNEF database information to General Ledger monthly. 
  • Other duties as directed to maintain the smooth operation of the Department and the GNEF fund.
