Overview

As a vital member of the marketing communications team, the Digital Media Manager contributes creative design, direction and online marketing strategy for e-communications initiatives. The manager supports marketing, public relations, fundraising, and other capacity building operations at the national, territorial, divisional and local level.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Implements online strategic plans and vision with emphasis on ensuring the efforts are aligned with the overall department and organizational goals
  • Monitors and maintains all activities related to fundraising and connecting with our online audience.
  • Coordinates Internet fundraising efforts in accordance with IHQ guidelines.
  • Develops and maintains fundraising and marketing web sites for the territory,
  • Identifies current and future content needs and priorities; develops annual plan and strategy.
  • Coordinates generation of new content and maintains existing content including leading and planning the implementation of keywords, video, sound and media files.
  • Creates graphics in various mediums including print and ensures a consistent look and feel is maintained across all channels.
  • Designs and implements online fundraising efforts

 

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's degree and three to five years related experience
  • Mastery of Adobe Creative Cloud applications including, but not limited to, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver
  • Proficient in Flash, HTML5 and optimization of web graphics
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge of SalesForce Marketing Cloud or equivalent marketing engagement tools, a plus
  • Solid writing and editing skills
  • Excellent analytical ability, attention to detail
  • Great communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to interact and work with employees from all levels of the organization
  • Experience and understanding of various content management systems
  • Knowledge and/or understanding of SEO
