     The Salvation Army is hiring an on-call/per diem Resident Manager for State Street Apartments!


    This residential program provides housing to homeless young adults, 18-25 years of age, that have been diagnosed with mental illness. This position is responsible for the supervision of residents and the general oversight of activities within the apartments to ensure a safe, secure, comfortable, and supportive environment.


    Working days and hours will typically include evening, overnight, and weekend shifts, but will vary according to scheduling needs. State Street Apartments is conveniently located near the S. Salina Street Centro Bus Hub.




    • Responsible for supervision of the residents and general management of the shelter to insure a safe, secure, comfortable and supportive environment to include:
      • Clerical duties/documentation
      • Check and maintain building security
      • Provide community education and awareness
    • Monitor social and recreational activities
    • Supervise and assist with performance of all household duties including assistance with meal preparation, cleaning, and general maintenance of the residence.



    • High school diploma or equivalent required
    • One year of experience working with adolescents or young adults.
    • Ability to achieve and maintain CPR Certification
    • Must be able to navigate stairs within residential apartment complex.
