To plan, direct, and supervise Star Lake camp’s waterfront program.


  • Involvement in the total camp program with willingness to assist in all areas as needed, including dining room, campfire programs, children with problems, Health Unit, etc.
  • Promote observance of spiritual emphasis in program and of the moral and ethical code affecting campers and staff.
  • Attend and contribute to staff meetings.
  • Responsible for sharing with Program Director all matters of mutual concern relating to the total welfare of the camp. 


  • A personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a desire to share your faith with others
  • College student or at least 21 years of age
  • Training and experience in waterfront activities and management (at least one year)
  • Current American Red Cross Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED and Waterfront Skills certification
  • WSI (Water Safety Instruction) certification
  • Ability to schedule and supervise staff
  • Desire and ability to work with children outdoors
  • Ability to relate to one’s peer group
  • Ability to accept guidance and supervision
  • Good character, integrity, and adaptability
  • Enthusiasm, sense of humor, patience, and self-control
