Position: Front Desk Worker
Department: Social Services, West Chester, PA Corps
Availability of Position: ASAP
Schedule: Part-Time; Monday-Friday (10am – 4pm)
Reporting Relationship: Family Services Administrator
Salary and Grade: $9-$10 per hour; 70 Non-Exempt
The primary objective of the front desk worker is to answer a multi-line switchboard quickly, (ideally with a 3 ring cycles) and direct calls to their proper destinations without delay. Greet clients, vendors and visitors, answering questions, announcing calls or provide directions to clients. Employee must assist clients in identifying and obtaining available community resources and community services under the directives of the Department Head. The main role of the front desk worker is to provide the primary objectives needed to the clients whenever possible, always in a positive and amiable attitude giving the best Salvation Army representation. The front desk worker will also be responsible for processing incoming deliveries that will require lifting and moving items. Other duties as assigned.
