Overview

The Salvation Army Central Ohio is seeking to fill a part-time (25 hours per week), non-exempt position for an Accounting Clerk.  This position encompasses the general responsibility for accounting services for Columbus Area Services.  This position utilizes technical abilities and skills including the use of computers and computerized systems, particularly Word, Excel and Shelby Accounting.  It is a position that demands strict confidentiality and accountability in all matters.

Qualifications

  1. An understanding of and passion for The Salvation Army's mission
  2. High School Graduate
  3. Working knowledge of MS-Word and Excel Spreadsheets
  4. Must have excellent typing, telephone, computer and office machinery skills.
  5. Must have excellent interpersonal relationship skills and be extremely loyal and confidential in relating to all co-workers and work matters.
  6. Ability to maintain confidentiality
