Periodically, the Crestview Conference Center in West Nyack, NY needs the assistance of On-Call facilities/security/IT & AV Support. We are looking to create a pool of candidates who have flexibility with their schedules that we can contact when the need arises. The Conference Center is a 10,000 square foot state-of-the-art multifunctional space that can accommodate meetings, conferences and classes with style and flexibility.
Reporting to the Operations Coordinator, this individual will be responsible for supporting and coordinating video & web conferencing, conference meetings, and operating an H.323 system for video conference, Microsoft Office Suite, and all A/V systems used by the Conference Center. Additionally, the individual will greet guests and direct them to meeting locations, report any suspicious incidents to supervisors, and other related duties as assigned.
Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent, working knowledge of A/V technology (i.e. sound mixers, video routing systems, etc.) and a minimum of 2 years' experience in related fields. Present a professional and positive image, have strong customer service and communication skills. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and reach with hands and arms. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 lbs, occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs., and rarely lift and/or move up to 100 lbs.
Be a part of our on-call team. There is no standard work schedule or guarantee of hours. Opportunities for day or evening shifts, including occasional weekends and/or holidays, based on needs for conference center services and events.
