The Salvation Army is Hiring!

 

We have an immediate opening for a part-time Donor Relations Associate to provide administrative support to the Donor Relations Director. As part of the Donor Relations team, this position contributes to the goal of insuring greater financial resources for The Salvation Army through major giving.

 

Responsibilities

  • Conduct Basic Research and create proposal and case for support.
  • Maintain and Improve Work Flow and Systems.
  • Interact and Communicate with Prospects, Donors, Clients and Salvation Army personnel.
  • Manage mid-level Donor Program
  • Insure the smooth running of all administrative tasks to maximize Donor Relations Director’s efficiency
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Special tasks performed for the holidays
  • Other assignments consistent with the mission of TSA

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree and minimum one year related experience required.
  • Proficiency with computer programs and databases, including Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Lotus Notes and/or Outlook, and the Internet.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Good data retrieval, analysis, and presentation capabilities.
  • Must maintain and project a highly professional demeanor.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once and to prioritize work.
  • Interest in serving the mission of The Salvation Army.
