To be the Health Center Assistant Nurse for Star Lake camp; supervise health and cleanliness standards; work with the Health Center Manager/Registered Nurse, Camp Director and staff; and help provide adequate physical health conditions for all.
Involvement in the total camp program with willingness to assist in all areas as needed, including dining room, campfire programs, children with problems, Health Center, etc.
Promote observance of spiritual emphasis in program and of the moral and ethical code affecting campers and staff.
Attend and contribute to staff meetings.
Responsible for sharing with Program Director all matters of mutual concern relating to the total welfare of the camp.
A personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a desire to share your faith with others
Current RN license to participate in New Jersey. May also be a licensed LPN
Current CPR and first aid certifications
Desire to work and live in a camp community
Ability to originate, update, and /or monitor health care, maintain records, and implement the health care plan
Experience with children and young adults desirableSelf-motivated, responsible an independent worker, and organized
Ability to relate to one’s peer group
