Join a vibrant, mission-driven organization that makes a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals and communities every day. At The Salvation Army, your work supports a legacy of service, compassion, and practical assistance for those who need it most.
ABOUT THIS ROLE
This is a hands-on position keeping our Corps facility clean, safe, and ready for the people we serve. You will work independently, take ownership of your space, and make a real difference in how our building looks and functions every day. If you take pride in a job done right and enjoy working in a mission-driven environment, we would love to hear from you.
This role goes beyond routine cleaning. You are responsible for the overall condition of the building, inside and out; keeping spaces clean and functional, identifying what needs attention, and making sure the facility is always ready for the people who walk through our doors.
A full list of duties and physical requirements is available in the complete job description.
This position requires sustained physical activity throughout the workday. You will be on your feet the majority of the time, walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, and climbing as the work demands. Regular use of hands and arms is required for cleaning, handling equipment, and reaching. Lifting up to 50 pounds is a routine part of the role, with occasional lifting up to 100 pounds.
