Overview

Classification: Full-Time, Non-Exempt, 35 hours/week, Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. with a 30 minute-lunch break.

Job Focus:  This position encompasses the general responsibility for accounting services for area operations.  This position will utilize technical abilities and skills including the use of computers and computerized systems.  It is a position that demands strict confidentiality and accountability in all matters.

Qualifications

  • An understanding of and passion for The Salvation Army’s Mission
  • High School Diploma
  • College Accounting degree preferred or accounting experience of two years or more
  • Must have an excellent interpersonal relationship skills and be extremely loyal and confidential relating to all co-workers and work matters.
  • Must be detail orientated and willing to overtime if requested
  • The ability to obtain and maintain driving privileges per The Salvation Army insurance standards.
