SCOPE AND PURPOSE OF POSITION:
My name is Gena, and I am the Manager for the Preventive Service Program (PPS) Team here at The Salvation Army. My program is currently seeking to hire a new member to specialize in Case Management services. As a member of the PPS Team you will work directly with children and caregivers in their homes providing education, support, and guidance that promotes safety, stability, and healthy development. We typically assign Case Planners to a case load of 14-20 families here in Onondaga County. My Team's main goal is to reduce risks for the families we help and prevent foster care placements of their children. This role is a fantastic opportunity to jump start your career in the field of Case Management & Planning. This is a dynamic role that blends relationship-building, problem solving, and community engagement.

I'm offering a starting rate of pay of $23.00 per hour with a work schedule of 5 days per week for a total of 40 hours. The position is non-exempt and hourly with over-time eligibility.

Minimum education of
-Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or certificate.
Required experience
- One Year of related work and/or internship experience (E.g. Social Worker, Case Worker, Program Manager, Coordinator)
SPECIAL SKILLS, CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
_Must have access to private transportation and a valid NYS Driver License
