Responsibilities

What You’ll Bring to the Team

We are looking for compassionate, positive and engaging individuals who see the potential in everyone.

The Essentials:

  • A High School Diploma or GED.
  • A valid Driver’s License and the ability to operate a standard sized van.
  • The ability to obtain all necessary background clearances.
  • An appreciation for The Salvation Army’s mission of service.

 

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Has experience supporting individuals with intellectual or physical disabilities.
  • Is a natural problem-solver with a positive, "can-do" attitude.
  • Communicates with kindness and respect when speaking with program participants, families and staff.
  • Is excited to help our program participants explore new interests and broaden their horizons.
  • Has experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook & Word).
  • Is comfortable utilizing computers and other technologies.
