This position provides assistance with the planning and execution of the Christmas Assistance Program. Assignment dates: November 1-December 20
• Must be able to work weekdays, weekends and evenings as needed, hours of operation may vary
• Assist with pick up donations from community sites
• Organize and sort donated packages
• Fill in as needed as a bell ringer
• Assist with miscellaneous tasks as assigned including, but not limited to:
o Unload truck deliveries
o Sort toys
o Label gift bags
o Setup and breakdown of toy warehouse
o Assist with toy distribution
• High School Diploma or GED
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
• Good communication skills and team management
• Willingness to uphold and support The Salvation Army’s mission and ministry
• Reliable and able to work well with a team
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• A valid Ohio Driver's License and experience driving a box truck
