The Salvation Army Syracuse Area Services is hiring Community Based Therapists!
Part-Time opening with potential to convert to Full-time
Starting rate=$28/hour with benefits even at part time status.
As a Community Based Therapist, you will provide therapeutic services to children and youth (ages 0–21) under the Children & Family Treatment and Support Services Medicaid program, helping them achieve emotional, behavioral, and mental health goals in the least restrictive environment—often in their home or community. The goal of services is to increase accessibility to quality mental health services, while preventing the progression of mental health needs through early identification and intervention.
We have 1 part-time opening (29 hrs/week) reporting to the Director of Behavioral Health Services, with the potential to move to full-time (35 hrs/week) based on performance and agency needs. Flexible scheduling is available based on provider and family availability. This is a great opportunity for professionals working toward clinical licensure to gain hands-on experience with youth and families in a community mental health setting—with the support of a large, well-established agency.
Starting pay: $28/hour, plus monthly productivity incentives.
Benefit Offerings: Part time employees are eligible for Paid Holidays, Vacation, Sick & Personal Time Off, Retirement Savings Account and Pension Plan. We offer our Full-time employees access to a unique group of Benefits to include Medical, Dental, Vision Insurances.
