Seeking a Part Time Youth Ministries Program Coordinator on our Lockport Corps Team

SCOPE AND PURPOSE OF POSITION:
To oversee an effective after school program that encourages strong academic programs and character-building activities.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee the daily operations of the ASP
• Develop and implement programs for the ASP including academic and social support such as tutoring, sports, arts, SA Troops, Corps Cadets and Junior soldiers (Army programs will have officer and corps volunteer assistants)
• Manage staff and volunteers. Provide training including KeepSAfe and provide proper supervision.
• Maintain communication with Officers, volunteers, staff, parents and community members encouraging their involvement and feedback on program activities.
• Develop resource people to come alongside and assist with character development, arts, sports, tutoring, troops and other youth programs.
• Maintain daily records and submit monthly statistics.
• Attend church once a month and encourage participants to attend.

Qualifications

SPECIAL SKILLS, CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
List any special skills, licenses, certificates, or registrations that are required to perform the essential duties of this job

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.
• Must maintain a Good Driving Record.
• Possess Leadership Skills.
• Possess Knowledge of Safety protocols.
• Good Communication skills.
