Overview

Position: Kettle Coordinator                                                                                                                              

Department: Seaford Sussex Chapel Corps                           

Availability of Position: Oct 6, 2025          

Schedule:  M-S 9am-5pm                             

Reporting Relationship: Reports directly to Commanding Officer  

Salary Grade: 74NE

Responsibilities

Description of Position:

 

Coordinate the Kettle Campaign Fundraising Effort and oversee schedule for kettle workers and volunteers. Ensuring that all paperwork received is correct before being submitted to the Office Manager, in a timely manner, for processing and approval by DHQ. Responsibly manage all resources (people, supplies, hardware, vehicles, etc.) associated with the Kettle Campaign effort.

Qualifications

Requirements:                                

 

  • High School Diploma or some college preferred.
  • Must Have Respectable Driver’s License with clean driving record and able to pass the Salvation Army’s and Chesterfields Motor Vehicle test.
  • Must be over the age of 21 to drive The Salvation Army vehicle.
  • Must be organized and able to handle multiple tasks with varying deadlines.
  • Must be flexible and able work evenings and weekends during the Christmas kettle season.
  • Be reliable and dependable.
  • Child Protection Clearances PA Act 153 requires that all prospective employees complete the following clearance and background checks:   PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check and FBI Criminal Record/Fingerprint Check.
  • Must have an understanding of and appreciation for the Mission of The Salvation Army.
