The Temporary Arts Ministries Summer Assistant will serve as an assistant to the Arts Ministries Bureau for their summer ministry programs. They will help to implement plans, manage logistics and support all aspects of these summer ministries of The Salvation Army, spreading God’s message through the arts. 

Based in West Nyack, NY, this is a temporary position (June-August), requiring up to 35 hours per week and is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement.

• Travel to Hershey PA for Commissioning/Star Search, Old Orchard Beach ME for Pier Festival and Suffern NY for Territorial Arts Ministries Conservatory
• At THQ, assist with office administrative duties: smart data/receipt tracking, event billing, mail outs, proof reading, supply runs, Keynote/PowerPoint drafting, assembling personnel welcome bundles etc.
• In collaboration with the Bureau, track and file all critical medical forms and information for TAMC.
• On location, assist with group text drafting/notifications, supply runs, set up and clean-up of events, airport runs as needed, costume cleaning/maintenance etc.
• Assist the Arts Ministries Bureau as needed.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• 1-3 years of related experience
• Valid driver's license
• Familiarity with: Canva, social media, photography, pro presenter, Excel, Keynote
