The primary role of this position is to provide administrative and resource development support to the development team, and administrative and campaign/event support to the operations manager and the Divisional Secretary for Greater Cleveland. Seventy percent of the work will center around donor stewardship, social media, and developing community/donor resources, and 30% of the work will center around assisting with general administrative duties the advisory board and committees, and seasonal events and campaigns.
1. Maintain the donor acknowledgment and stewardship process that includes following the gift acceptance, recognition, and process policies.
2. Maintain accurate and up-to-date donor records.
3. Coordinate with the Annual Fund Director to ensure the integrity of the donor management system, produce accurate reports, and monitor donor revenue and activity.
4. Collaborate with development staff on securing donor appointments, calendar scheduling, expenses, and monitoring of budget.
5. Establish a separate database/tracking spreadsheet for Advisory Board donations, volunteer time, corporate volunteer groups, gift in kind donations, and special events.
6. Work with DRD to monitor in-house and territorial reports, direct mail lock box, and in-house donations for potential donors and resource development capacity.
7. Work in partnership with the Operations Manager and Manager of Corporate Engagement
8. and Foundation Giving to cultivate and support resource development opportunities with local corporations via volunteer and campaign/event participants.
9. Develop and maintain resources for donor stewardship communications such as news reports, quarterly impact reports, and interviews for the internal newsletter.
10. Monitor and steward the monthly donor program.
11. Manage and develop social media content for increased visibility and marketing.
12. Assist the Operations Manager with support for Advisory Board Meetings and committees to include: set-up and clean-up; attendance records; and record keeping and minutes.
13. Work with the Operations Manager to support activities and programs during Christmas to include: assisting with the volunteer program; working at the Christmas warehouse for toy collection, packing, and distribution; coordinating holiday information between GCAS and the individual Corps.
14. Provide administrative support to the Divisional Secretary of GCAS, Operations Manager, and Director of Development.
The ideal candidate will have at least an associate degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
