Salary/Grade: $59,000.00

 

About Booth Manor:

The Salvation Army, Booth Manor I and II is a 100 1-bedroom apartment complex facility that houses senior citizens 62 years and older. Booth Manor is in the West Philadelphia section of Philadelphia. Booth Manor is a facility that is funded by the Department of housing and urban.

Responsibilities

Description of Position:

The Site Manager has overall responsibility for all facets of the management of Booth Manor I & II. The Site Manager ensures that services are delivered to residents with a high level of customer service consistent with the mission of The Salvation Army.  This includes personnel, property, budget and program. The Site Manager is also responsible for maintaining positive relationships with external funders as well as meeting various regulatory and reporting requirements.

 

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Experience in multifamily maintenance and experience involving affordable housing, senior housing, or special needs housing.
  • Must be able to keep information in a confidential and secure fashion.
  • Must have High School Diploma or GED and at least two years building maintenance experience.
  • Must be a self-starter who can work in an environment with multiple changing work priorities.
  • Good verbal and writing communication skills.
  • Must have an understanding of and appreciation for the Mission of The Salvation Army.
  • Child Protection Clearances PA Act 153 requires that all prospective employees complete the following clearance and background checks:   PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check and FBI Criminal Record/Fingerprint Check.
  • Must have an understanding of and appreciation for the Mission of The Salvation Army.
