Overview

TITLE:                  Kettle Worker Driver   - Temporary/ Seasonal Position (November to December)

LOCATION:        The Salvation Army, Wilmington, DE

REPORTS TO:    Corps Officer

SALARY:             $15 per hour, non-exempt

SCHEDULE        Tuesday to Saturday; 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. (Flexible Hours); Beginning: (November 11, 2024) Ending: (December 24, 2024)

 

FUNCTION: The driver will assist the Kettle Coordinator by assuring that kettles, equipment, workers and volunteers are set up as needed at their assigned kettle locations in a timely fashion.

 

Responsibilities

*Set up and break down stands at kettle locations.

*Equipment drop-offs and pick-ups for all assigned locations.

*Picking up and dropping off meal allowance workers.

*Provide support and breaks for meal allowance workers.

*Performs related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

*Diploma or GED required

*Valid Driver’s License and good driving record required

*Good communications skills

*Must have an understanding of and appreciation for the Mission of The Salvation Army.

*Meets the Child Protection Clearances required by Delaware’s Beau Biden Law based on information found on the SBI and FBI Criminal Record Checks.
