TITLE:                  Kettle Worker Bell Ringer - Seasonal 

LOCATION:        Wilmington, DE

REPORTS TO:    Corps Officer

SALARY:             $13.25 per hour, non-exempt

SCHEDULE:        Tuesday to Saturday; 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. (Flexible Hours); From November 11, 2024 to December 24, 2024

POSITION OVERVIEW: The Kettle Worker is to assist with the annual Salvation Army kettle effort, including, standing kettles to collect donations and ensure that the kettle is protected until pick-up by the Corps Officer or official kettle personnel

• Collects proceeds as directed from kettle donors.
• Collects proceeds from shoppers, merchants and other donators.
• Informs Corps Officer of problems, issues and complaints during the kettle season.

• High school diploma/GED
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• Excellent Social skills a plus.
• Meets the Child Protection Clearances required by Delaware’s Beau Biden Law based on information found on the SBI and FBI Criminal Record Checks.
• Must have an understanding of and support for the Mission of The Salvation Army.
