Director of Continuous Quality & Improvement, (CQI)

Full-Time, Exempt Status, $65,000 w/Benefits

 

Director of CQI:  This is a newly updated version of a position that we placed on hold and have now reactivated and actively recruiting.  The Director of CQI is responsible for developing and implementing a continuous quality improvement system that ensures organizational excellence and supports future growth. The position will also oversee compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements. Responsible for coordination of agency training programs. Provides CQI support to Departments, Programs, and Administration.

Responsibilities

  • Administration, leadership, monitoring and planning which results in quality performance, fiscal stability, and organizational accountability.
  • Assists with setting and monitoring of agency goals and objectives across departments.
  • Develop and implement cross-departmental data collection/analysis system that provides timely, accurate information for decision-making and performance monitoring.
  • Technical & Training assistance provided to programs to support the delivery of high-quality services that comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Assist Departments with grant applications, preparation for site visits, and external audits of programs.
  • Responsible for the review of agency-wide incident reports and appropriate follow-ups as needed.
  • Oversee and coordinate staff training for the agency, including mandated trainings and training needs identified via quality improvement processes.
  • Member of Executive Committee and liaison with other agency departments as needed to provide input into strategic decisions, ensure quality performance and regulatory compliance.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a clinical field, Business Administration or Public Administration (master’s degree not required but preferred.)
  • Up to 5 years of management experience in human services or business.
  • Must be a proven visionary leader
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff at all levels of the organization
  • Experience in quality/process improvement initiatives
  • Skilled at building consensus and conflict resolution
  • Valid Driver’s license that meets The Salvation Army’s insurance requirements
