Position Summary: Kettle coordinator exists to further the mission of The Salvation Army. The Kettle Coordinator’s primary responsibility is to oversee the Christmas Kettle program, including recruiting, training, and managing seasonal Kettle fundraisers. The Kettle Coordinator is responsible for the daily kettle fundraising effort including managing the schedule for kettle workers/volunteers, maintaining proper equipment, securing donations, and communications with volunteers, groups, and staff.

Minimum Qualifications:
Physical and Work Environment Requirements: Must be capable of performing the above essential duties. Capable of performing in an office environment to include: using a computer, answering phones, etc. Some work will be outdoors and it will be cold. Capable of lifting 20 regularly pounds and sometimes up to 40 pounds.

Work hours: Normal work hours will be determined by a supervisor. Initially, normal work hours will be 20 hours per 3-day work week (October - November). The expectation will be the hours will shift to afternoon/evening at least 5 days per week and the employee will get up to 40 hours per week.
