Overview

Oversee the residential operations for the PASS program and the Project Share  program as well as the effective delivery of case management, behavioral healthcare, remedial education, supportive employment and life skills programming for chronically homeless men.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and direct the day to day operations to include staffing schedules, volunteer schedules, and payroll and employment reviews.
  • Ensure the PASS program's compliance with all obligations contained in the HUD funding agreement and prepare the Annual Progress Report as well as assist with HUD application process.
  • Ensure that all Project Share (and PASS) is entered appropriately in the Tesco database system.
  • Systemize the tracking and reporting of program performance data.
  • Collaborate with local service agencies, particularly the Lakeside Emergency Shelter, to build and effective continuum of care for the homeless men in Greater Cleveland.
  • Disseminate program information and represent the agency in the local community.
  • Establish the duties, performance and accountability standards for all program staff and volunteers.
  • Supervise the functions of the program management assistant as well as the treatment, housing and vocational services coordinators and volunteers at Project Share.
  • Assist HLC's financial management staff with the renewal of program funding agreements.
  • Help facilitate the cooperative efforts of all HLC programs and departments.
  • Other duties as requested by the HLC Executive Director.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in the human services field.
  • Five (5) or more years with a provider of relevant services, including three (3) years of staff supervisory experience required.
  • State licensed social worker (LSW) or certified chemical dependency counselor with clinical supervision endorsement (CCDC Level III-E) preferred.
  • Proven knowledge of local services for chronically homeless men.
