Position Description:  The Kroc Youth Ministries Coordinator (KYMC) will be responsible for the development and oversight of all youth ministries with the goal of youth becoming devoted followers of Jesus Christ. The KYMC is charged with the responsibility of growing youth ministries in meaningful ways. The KYMC will attend Sunday worship services, stay current with youth ministry practices by reading, attending youth leadership conferences.

Requirements:  Exhibit a personal and growing relationship with Jesus Christ; a passion for evangelism and outreach both personally and a ministry level. Must possess High School diploma or equivalent.  Must demonstrate mature Christian character with a passion for mission and youth. Must have 1-2 years of progressive youth ministry leadership experience. Uniformed Salvationist preferred. The successful candidate will possess well developed relational/interpersonal skills. Must be able to function in a fast-paced, frequently changing work environment, and balance multiple tasks.  Must be able to function effectively without supervision.  Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English. Possess basic administrative skills which includes familiarity with Microsoft Office programs.  Must be a team player. Must be able to work with varied ethnic and socio-economic populations. Must be willing and able to work evenings and weekends. Must possess the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Must have a valid Pennsylvania State Driver’s License and the ability to operate required fleet vehicle(s). Meets Child Protection Clearances required by PA Act 153 to include PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check and FBI Criminal Record Check. Must have an understanding of and appreciation for the Mission Statements of The Salvation Army and the RJKCCC.
