Position: Environmental Services Team Leader (ESTL)
Location/Dept.: The Salvation Army Kroc Center (SAKC), Philadelphia, PA
Availability: Immediate
Schedule: Full Time - Must be willing and able to work occasional weekends and evenings as may be required in performance of duties or requested to support the ongoing operations of the Kroc Center. The accountabilities of the ESTL will require this role to be On Call 24 hours/7 days a week.
Reporting Relationship: Facilities Supervisor (FS)
Grade: 73 Status: Non-Exempt Salary: $15 to $17 per hour

The ESTL will be responsible for the hands-on day-to-day cleanliness of the physical facilities of the RJKCCC,in accordance with federal, State, and local standards, guideline and regulations governing our facility as directed by the Facilities Supervisor, Kroc Center General Manager, or the Administrator (s), to assure that the facility is maintained in a safe and clean fashion.  Maintain the overall cleanliness of the Kroc Center. Ensure appropriate cleaning checklists are followed and updated, as needed.
Assist the FS with supervising the shift environmental services associates.  Provide the environmental services associates with supplies/materials/access to work areas throughout the facility.  Report any team concerns and facility problems to the Facilities Supervisor and/or the Facilities Shift Coordinator (FSC), in a timely matter.  Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies, informing FS when supplies need to be restocked.  Assure that the RJKCCC is free of trash and clutter (indoors/outdoors) and identify needed spot cleanups and respond immediately to resolve the issue. Establish a priority system on unscheduled cleaning.  Assist with fleet vehicle cleaning.

Must possess a High School Diploma or Equivalent.  3-5 years of experience in commercial cleaning industry.  Must be able to read, write and communicate clearly in English.  Must possess working knowledge of cleaning supplies/equipment and tools of the trade.  Must possess good interpersonal relationship skills.  Must be a team player.  Must understand and be willing to extend great customer service.  Must be able to move about the RJKCCC freely.  Must be able to work weekends and/or evenings.
As a Mandated Reporter, must provide proof of having completed training on recognizing and reporting child abuse meeting the training standards of PA Act 153 of 2014 within 30 days of employment with recurrent training required every five years thereafter.  Meets the Child Protection Clearances required by PA Act 153 to include PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check and FBI Criminal Record Check.  Must possess an understanding of and an appreciation for The Salvation Army Mission Statement.
