Salary and Grade: $58,000 annual, depending on education and experience; 11 Exempt

Position Overview: Provides support and management to staff and volunteers of the Service Extension Programs and
Fund Raising in the assigned region. The role requires maintaining a home office, active participation in local community service or church organizations. The position requires flexibility regarding hours and travel within the region.
Description of Position: The Regional Manager leads fundraising efforts for each Service Unit in collaboration with Community Relations & Development (CRD) when appropriate and monitors existing Service Extension Programs within the assigned area. They ensure strict internal controls on funds, vehicles, wills, and legal documents and act as a liaison between the Service Unit and Divisional Headquarters staff. Responsibilities include recruiting, training, and developing committee chairs, members, and volunteers, visiting all Service Units, and assisting in the development of annual budgets. The Regional Manager establishes public relations, interprets programs, and provides necessary resources and materials to Service Units. They assist in developing and implementing new programs, identifying systemic improvements, and attend local and regional meetings, including United Way and community service groups. The role also involves maintaining accurate records, supporting divisional responses, and providing resources for staff and volunteers in various areas such as volunteer management, community asset integration, emergency financial assistance, camp recruitment, seasonal fundraising, and logistics for food, grants, and facility management. Additionally, the Regional Manager performs related duties as assigned, exercising good judgment and seeking counsel when necessary.
