Overview

The Salvation Army’s Divisional Headquarters located in Canton, MA  is hiring a Field Representative and offers excellent benefit package to eligible employees including:

Location: Western/Central MA

Pay Range: $48,500 - $49,500/year

The Field Representative is the liaison between The Salvation Army Service Extension Department and the volunteers, businesses, donors, potential donors and people in need in the area assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers for assigned service unites required.
  2. Submit required reports on time.
  3. Maintain all records in an organized and well maintain filing system.
  4. Attend staff, community and other meetings as requested.
  5. Coordinate through service unit committees all fundraising programs including; kettles, letters to donors, special events, etc.
  6. Meet all fundraising goals
  7. Meet with all active coalitions quarterly, more often as necessary, providing/receiving updates, and information on any and all changes
  8. Provide regular postings to the Department Facebook page
  9. Communicate with funding sources when necessary
  10. Fulfill speaking engagements promoting the visibility of The Salvation Army programs and services
  11. Provide educational and informational orientation to volunteers and donors when appropriate
  12. Take initiative to identify community needs and develop programs to address them
  13. Performs emergency assistance tasks, i.e., services to clients, special projects, and seasonal activities.
  14. Perform office and clerical duties when necessary.
  15. Is part of The Salvation Army Emergency Disaster work as requested
