Our Eastern Territorial Headquarters in West Nyack, NY has 2 temporary part-time positions (up to 30 hours/week) for a Production Assistant supporting Live Events. These positions are expected to begin at the end of May and end in mid-July, 2024.

 

As a member of the Event Team, this creative and problem-solving individual will support all aspects of live events productions that convey the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. When not on set or on a live events production, this individual will support in preparation of materials, equipment and logistics.

Responsibilities

  • The Production Assistant (P.A.) must be proficient in ProPresenter.
  • Able to gather information and build screen content for Live Events.
  • Must have experience in Livestream technology.
  • Must be familiar with Event Production.
  • Able to operate a camera.
  • Must have a high attention to detail.
  • Able to work under pressure, and under the watchful eyes of directors, and producers.
  • Have an understanding of sound recording devices and be able to monitor audio recordings.
  • Be able to perform the role of an ingest operator for both live and pre-recorded productions under the direction of the digital imaging technician.
  • Assist in the set up and break down of Live Events
  • Support the live events team in managing and, repairing equipment.
  • Must be attentive and ready to perform any task that is asked while on a Live Event.
  • Must be ready to communicate to talent, crew, and any directives from the Live Events Director
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Be present and assist in all aspects of Live Events.
  • Travel to locations and/or sets as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • One year college or technical school
  • One to three years of related experience
  • Basic understanding of audio/video equipment
  • Familiar with Blackmagic URSA Cameras, Canon DSLR’s, audio recording.
  • Proficient skills with Adobe Creative Suite, ProPresenter, and MS Office.
  • Must be Apple Computer proficient.
  • Able to work independently.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate proficiently both orally and in writing.
  • Must be dependable and flexible, dedicated to creating the highest quality content possible.
  • Ability to travel, including weeknights and weekends as needed.
