The property portfolio for The Salvation Army – Eastern Territory is comprised of 1,686 owned and 169 leased properties - shelters, retail stores, corps/churches, community centers, and living quarters located throughout twelve Northeastern states, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
The Property Director – Eastern Territory is responsible for three inner departments, Property and Facilities Department, Conference Center, and the onsite Café located in West Nyack, New York. The total staff count of all three departments total thirty-two individuals. The Property Director primary job is to effectively provide direction and oversight to deliver expert property management services regarding the purchase, sale, leasing, construction, renovation, and major maintenance of The Salvation Army properties in the Eastern Territory. This position is a critical member of Territorial Property Council and serves as Secretary of the Council.
This is an onsite position, requiring approximately 35 hours of work per week and may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement.
