Schedule: Full Time- Monday through Friday from 10AM  to 6PM

                  Part Time - Monday through Friday from 12PM to 6PM (up to 19 hours weekly)

Supervises: N/A

Reporting Relationship: Social Services Director

Salary and Grade:$15.00 per year; Grade 73, Non-Exempt

Position Overview:

It is the role of the Youth Program Aide to look out for the wellbeing of participating children in corps youth programs as it relates to its after-school program, summer day camp and other youth activities.

Description of Position:    

• Work with Youth Program Team in order to assure that children attending programs are served in an appropriate manner.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
• Organize and execute activities in the gymnasium and game room.
• Communicate with parents as needed.
• Perform first aid tasks as needed
• In case of another pandemic where children will be out of school but required to do distance education, Youth Program Aide will serve as a tutor-facilitator.
• Help organize and execute after school program, summer day camp, back to school and Christmas Angel Tree programs.
• Assist with administrative duties such as statistics and reporting to funders.

Requirements:    

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 1-3 years of related experience.
• Microsoft Office—Word, Power Point, Excel; Outlook
• Valid PA Driver’s License.
• Child Protection Clearances PA Act 153 requires that all prospective employees complete the following clearance and background checks prior to employment: PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check and FBI Criminal Record/Fingerprint Check. Meets the Child Protection Clearances required by PA Act 153 along with renewals every five years.
