Position: Anti-Trafficking House Manager

Schedule: Full-time (40 hours a week), Monday- Friday 9 am- 5 pm (some nights and weekends required)
Reporting Relationship: New Day Assistant Director of Trafficking
Salary and Grade: $55,000 annual; 13, Exempt

Position Overview: The Anti-Trafficking House Manager will work with the Director and Assistant Director of Anti-Trafficking and Social Services and other local
social service providers within Philadelphia and Montgomery Counties to coordinate housing services for survivors of trafficking. The House
Manager is responsible coordinating eligibility screening, and intake for potential residents that have been victims of human trafficking through the
Philadelphia CoC. The House Manager is responsible for working closely with New Home staff to assess resident’s needs, developing and/or
identifying programming to meet those needs. The House Manager will cultivate a safe, trauma informed, and secure environment that promotes
emotional and intellectual growth and development of its residents. The House Manager will conduct biweekly team meetings, participate in
clinical meetings and provide on-going supervision to staff. The House Manager will regularly review policies and procedures, manage the 24/7
hotline and maintain on-going connections with outside providers. This is a grant funded position and relies upon the continuation of funding.
Duties:
Requirements: As a Mandated Reporter, must provide proof of having completed training on recognizing and reporting child abuse meeting the training standards of PA Act 153 of 2014 within 30 days of employment with recurrent training required every five years thereafter. Meets the Child Protection Clearances required by PA Act 153 to include PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check and FBI Criminal Record Check. Must have a MSW or BSW with minimum or 2 years of experience working in human trafficking or a related field (ex- domestic violence, immigration rights, workers’ rights) in a role that involves service provision, training and/ or advocacy. Experience with trauma informed care, preferably a working knowledge of Sanctuary Model for Trauma informed services. Must have an understanding of Domestic and Foreign Human Trafficking. Prior residential, social service, or customer service work experience. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel from site to site as needed in the performance of duties. Professional-level communication skills verbal and written. Must have computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel Programs and be proficient in and the ability to utilize the internet. Bilingual in Spanish preferred. Must possess an understanding of and support the mission of The Salvation Army.
