SCOPE AND PURPOSE OF POSITION:

To provide management to various Christmas assistance programs. This position is further will assist in driving for Red Kettle Campaign and Angel Tree. This position will float through the various areas of the corps and fill in when necessary to help with daily operations and vehicle upkeep.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

ADMINISTRATIVE
• Responsible for all administrative duties as pertains to Red Kettle Campaign, Angel Tree, and Christmas social services.
• Assist with food distribution and organization of all food storage areas.
• Assist in kettle reporting and mileage reporting keeping track of Food Bank reports.
• Assist in donation pick-ups from grocery stores and various vendors as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of vehicles daily to ensure a safe environment for all staff members, volunteers, and participants.

FINANCIAL
• Ensure all funds are safeguarded at all times.
• Making deposits as required.

PROGRAM
• Make phone calls as needed to program participants
• Maintains Food Bank reports as needed

CHRISTMAS SEASON
• Responsible for driving Red Kettle Campaign
• Assist in organizing and recordkeeping as well as administrative duties relating to the
Christmas season fundraising.
• Assist in receive and process applications for Christmas Kettle Season to included correspondence with
volunteer groups and individuals.
• Organize and assist pick up dates and times for Angel Tree effort

Qualifications

SPECIAL SKILLS, CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
• Adhere to The Salvation Army mission statement
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Able to multitask
• Valid Driver’s License that meets The Salvation Army insurance requirements
• Applicant must be skilled with computer office programs
