Overview

Department:   Cincinnati City Operations

Reports to:      Director of Operations for Greater Cincinnati

Status:           Nonexempt

Schedule:       Monthly - 8 hours for upkeep and maintenance, additional hours for emergency response.

Function:        Provides emergency response to events representing The Salvation Army marked vehicles.  Maintains EDS facility and equipment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent 
  • Must possess the ability and willingness to conduct job duties in professional manner - Must possess the ability to work in a team environment, as well as independently.
  • Must possess an appreciation for the ability to embrace the Mission of The Salvation Army.  Must alway maintain a professional demeanor.
  • EDS/Emergency Management training preferred.
  • Willingness to work irregular hours.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must be a able to safely lift up to 50lbs.
  • Must have a valid driver license and ability to drive disaster vehicle safely at any time.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Utilize social media.
